“In school most people learn Spanish by memorising and being focused on grammar, but when they have to speak, nothing comes out. That’s my situation, but as I am learning with Oscar’s lessons, I am enjoying the process, and actually, I understand real spoken Spanish more and more, and now little words of Spanish are popping up into my head. This method is much powerful, much faster and it’s the way to learn Spanish when you really want to speak it.” AJ Hoge, effortlessEnglish.com

“Unlimited Spanish are audio courses where native speaker Òscar simulates conversations, with cues for you to interact with him. It is among the best I’ve seen for simulating a real conversation from pre-recorded audio. For those of you who are also visual learners, you’ll be able to read along through transcripts of the audio.” Benny Lewis, fluentin3months.com

    Hi Òscar
I live in California and I really like your podcasts. My Spanish has improved some but I’m finding myself struggling when I speak even though I know a lot. I find myself looking for words or trying to find the correct tense to use. When I listen to you I feel I know so much but when I speak with my Mexican Gardner Juan in Spanish the words don’t come and I find myself struggling a lot. Any pointers?

Hi. You need a systematic way to activate your vocabulary. My courses can greatly help you with that. https://www.unlimitedspanish.com/online-spanish-course/ If you don’t want to purchase one of my courses, I recommend you to hire a private tutor who asks you simple questions about sentences he reads to you. For example: “Mañana Juan irá a comer al restaurante”. Questions: “Quién va a comer a un restaurante?”; “Dónde va Juan?”; ¿Va Juan a comer a un restaurante o a una cafetería?”. This way you are continuously using the vocabulary you want to activate.
