I have looked through many different podcasts and websites for learning Spanish, but Oscars’s site really stands out. All the material is sensitive to the needs of learners who are trying to acquire and comprehend a new language. The pace and clarity of Oscar’s spoken words are exceptional and enhance learning without being overwhelming. The subject matter is both interesting and appropriate with a bit of humor thrown in. Thank goodness I found this podcast, it is just what I needed on my journey to understand and speak the Spanish language!
Thanks Michael. I really appreciate it!
Oscar,
Your podcasts are fantastic. I have purchase the original course and the next one and am working through them. They are excellent! Your love of Spanish is apparent as you provide such excellent free material. I encourage all to purchase your products. They are so economical and professional.
I have a question about ordering from the menu in a Mexican or other Spanish restaurant.
In English we usually say, “I would like the chicken marsala with the baked potato and green beans.”
I have listened to a Mexican presentation that says when speaking in Spanish, one should say, “Quiero ” not Me gustaría¨. Which is correct or isn´t it important. Thank you
Hola. Me alegra saber que te gusta mi contenido 🙂 Respecto a tu pregunta. No es muy importante, aunque se tiende a usar “quiero”.
